Conflict in Syria: Deadly Nerve Gas Is Latest Threat
iStockphoto/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Ireland working with other diplomats trying to diffuse the increasing violence in Syria.
The newest threat is a deadly nerve gas that U.S. officials say has been loaded into bombs at Syrian airfields.
There’s been no activity at those airfields since President Obama’s warning to Syria on Monday.
Syria insists it will not use chemical weapons on its own people.
