Indiana to receive funding from Land and Water Conservation Fund

Indiana will receive a share of $95 million from the U.S. Department of the Interior. The support from the Land and Water Conservation Fund totals nearly $1.9 million. The funding comes from offshore oil and gas development revenues. It will be used for job creation, economic develoment and outdoor recreation projects within states, territories and the District of Columbia. Indiana has three federally-recognized national parks including: Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in Porter County and the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial in Spencer County.
