Whoever is lighting off the fireworks is liable for damage of any property. Fireworks may only be set off on the user’s property. Not all communities designate a special spot for firework use but some do. Make sure to double check on that. Throughout the year, fireworks may only be used between 9am and 11pm. Local ordinance may be earlier. No local limitations may be placed on holidays and specially designated days: June 29 through July 3 and July 5 through 9. Of those days, fireworks may be used between 5pm until two hours after sunset. On holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day), fireworks may be used between 10am and midnight.
