Indiana Toll Road announces major project completed
Construction began on a 23 million dollar assisted living community in Merrillville The 107,000 square foot community is projected to open in the fall of 2017. The Indiana Toll Road announced an additional 56 lane miles of pavement rehabilitation have been completed and re-opened as part of the 80/90 PUSH pavement project. The sections, located between Mileposts 48-54 and 61-69 in eastern LaPorte/western St. Joe counties, were fully completed yesterday in time to help clear the Toll Road of mainline lane restrictions for the July Fourth holiday weekend. One small lane closure remains on a bridge at Milepost 32 that will open by Friday afternoon. PUSH work will resume next week on Wednesday evening with lane restrictions at Mileposts 55-62 in LaPorte County and Mileposts 73-83 in South Bend/Mishawaka.
