South Bend man sentenced for weapon charge
United States Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana, David Capp, announced that 43 year old Orlandor Branch, of South Bend, Indiana was sentenced before Judge Robert L. Miller, Jr., for felon in possession of a firearm. Branch was sentenced to 51 months’ imprisonment and 2 years of supervised release. According to documents filed in this case, on October 31, 2015 the South Bend Police Department was dispatched to a home for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, police saw Branch wearing a shoulder holster that contained a firearm. In March, Branch changed his plea to guilty admitting to possession of a firearm as a felon.
