The home is best known for being the mansion featured in the 1972 film, The Godfather. It was also featured in Whitney Houston’s film debut, The Bodyguard, in 1992 and was the home where former president John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy spent their honeymoon.

Designed by the same architect of the Hoover Dam, Gordon Kaufmann, the home is a sprawling 50,000-square feet, according to Top Ten Real Estate Deals. It features more than 19 bedrooms and suites, an almost Olympic-sized pool, tennis court, commercial grade kitchen, and a terrace that can hold more than 1,000 guests.

The five-acre estate, once owned by the late newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies, is stunning, with arched floor-to-ceiling windows, a two-story library, a spa and even a 32-foot billiards room. The mansion also features a nearly 9-foot tall Dennis Abbe mural.

One of the most captivating aspects of the property is the grounds. The gardens, designed by landscape architect Paul Thiene, even features waterfalls crashing into the pool.

You can get all of this and more for $195 million. The Beverly House can be purchased either alone or with a seven-bedroom guest home that sits adjacent to the property.
