The Food Bank of Northern Indiana Mobile Food Pantry will be in Michigan City on Tuesday from 10am–Noon, at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 2722 Wabash Street. Fresh perishable items (dairy, grains, produce and protein) and dry goods are offered free of charge to northern Indiana residents. The Food Bank sets up tables at pre-scheduled locations where people can “shop” and select items that best meet their needs. The mobile food pantries are first come, first served for those in need of food assistance, based on available product, while supplies last. Patrons are asked to bring bags or boxes to transport their items home. If weather conditions are adverse or product is not available, there is a possibility that a mobile food pantry could be cancelled. mobile+food+pantry
