Meanwhile in Israel, the nation is facing a sixth consecutive day of Palestinian attacks in the West Bank and a thwarted attack on their embassy in Turkey. Officials tell ABC News security has been boosted at the Israeli embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon says an assailant attempted to stab one of the Turkish security guards on duty outside the embassy before he was shot in the leg and taken into custody.
Local media described him as a 40-something Turkish native with mental health issues. Witnesses reported hearing him shout, “Allahu akbar” — God is great — a phrase often used by jihadist before attacks.
