The Swanson Center receives grant of $11,000.00
The Swanson Center announced that they were the recipients of a grant in the amount of $11,000.00, from the Office of Community Development and Planning, of the City of La Porte. The money will help fund the PATH Program, and comes from funds from the Community Development Block Grant Program. The Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) services are for people with serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders, who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
