Life-sized comic strip exhibit opening at the Lubeznik Center this Friday

Who exactly is this Rock-n-Roll Art Goddess? You can find out for yourself, firsthand, at November’s First Friday in downtown Michigan City, Indiana! The mystery unfolds November 3, 2017 at 5 pm at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts at 101 W. Second Street. The larger-than-life-size comic strip is the very first narrative of the graphic novel “The Adventures of Rock-n-Roll Art Goddess” by local artist Kelly Tokoly-Rothermel. Area Artist Association member Tokoly-Rothermel -who teaches Digital Art at Barker Middle School was born and raised in Michigan City and is very excited to unveil her latest work and newest medium. Currently she has a collaborative work up on display up at Art Space and is a member of the Southern Shore Artist Association in Michigan City. The last day of the exhibit is November 25, 2017. The Opening Reception is on November 3 from 5pm until 8pm. Lubeznik Center’s hours are weekdays 10-5 and weekends 11-4.
