The Michigan City Police Department in collaboration with the Michigan City Area School System conducted “Active Shooter” training at the Michigan City High School on Tuesday. The Special Weapons & Tactics Team (SWAT Team) felt it necessary to research the grounds and rooms of the school to familiarize themselves to be proactive in any type of unforeseen incident that might occur.
