On Saturday March 24th, Chief Mark Swistek, Captain Ed Beutner, Mayor Ron Meer and the members of the Michigan City Police Department will be hosting the annual 6th annual “Easter Egg Hunt”. Once again the event is in Fedders alley located in Washington Park. Starting at 11am Captain Ed and the Michigan City Zoo will be on hand to entertain the children. At 12:00pm sharp we will start the “hunt”. Everyone is strongly encouraged to arrive early as last year traffic was backed up on Lakeshore Drive at the start of the hunt. The actual hunt will start at 12:00pm rain or shine. This year we will have eggs in all areas that contain a special “Easter Coin” where the coin can be exchanged for a special prize at the prize areas. This is “a free to all ages 0-12 event”.
