The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of all lanes of U.S. 20 (Indianapolis Blvd.) in East Chicago, between Chicago Ave. and 145th Street, going on now through Friday, March 23. This closure is necessary so East Chicago city crews can complete sewer work.
