About the Show

Viewpoints is a public affairs magazine with ear-catching, in-depth, straight-ahead reporting on current issues of general interest. Each week, listeners hear from experts, authors and newsmakers in diverse fields, talking about topics such as business and social media, urban gardening, adult literacy and the new homeless. The program, which saw its national broadcast premiere in June, 2000, is written and produced by a group of award-winning broadcast journalists with extensive experience in nationally syndicated radio programming.

Produced in magazine format and documentary form, Radio Health Journal takes an in-depth look at two important issues in health, medicine and wellness each week, plus a brief look at medical headlines. We interview the top authorities in the scientific, medical and government communities. Recent topics have included: sex differences in the brain, the changing world of eldercare, drug shortages in hospitals, and the psychology of revenge. Since 1989, our affiliates have relied upon Radio Health Journal to be a vital part of their public affairs effort.
