Sentencing in 2014 child trafficking case
SOUTH BEND – Acting United States Attorney, Clifford D. Johnson, announced that 34 year old Anthony Huey, of South Bend, was sentenced before District Court Judge Jon E. DeGuilio for Transportation of a Minor with Intent to Engage in Prostitution. Huey was sentenced to 125 months of imprisonment and 2 years of supervised release. Restitution to the minor victim, if any, will be decided within the next 30 days. According to documents in this case, from on or about October 3, 2014 to on or about October 6, 2014, Huey transported the minor, whom he knew to be under the age of 18, from Indiana to Illinois, with the purpose that she engage in prostitution.
