Woman from Kevin Hart’s alleged sex tape says she’s working with Hart to bring extortionists to justice
ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — Montia Sabbag, the woman allegedly seen in that sex tape with Kevin Hart, wants to help Hart find the extortionists trying to set them up.
According to People, Sabbag’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, says she’s been communicating with Hart’s lawyer, and she and Sabbag are cooperating with the investigation.
“Right after the weekend in Las Vegas I think they had some contact, but since the extortionist came out with these images, it’s all been through attorneys,” Bloom said. “I’ve spoken to Kevin’s attorney and established a friendly relationship. We’re on the same side, he agrees, and there doesn’t need to be any hostility or animosity. Let’s just catch the criminal who did this.”
Bloom says that her client is a victim in the case and that neither Sabbag nor Hart were aware that they were being filmed during their encounter. However, both are serious about seeing the extortionist being brought to justice.
“They clearly are treating her as a crime victim and not as a suspect, which is appropriate,” Bloom said. “They are also taking the case very seriously — they were very respectful to us and we were very respectful to them.”
Hart went on Instagram last month to apologize to his wife and kids for an unspecified indiscretion. His management released a statement to ABC News the next day, saying Hart was a victim of extortion, but declined to provide details, citing an ongoing investigation.
