The Healthcare Foundation of La Porte (HFL) invites any interested community members to register to attend the presentation of the La Porte County Opioid Study commissioned by the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte through the Center for Health Policy at the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. The study addresses the burden of opioid addiction in La Porte County and makes recommendations to address the community’s needs and gaps related to this issue. The presentation will take place Thursday, April 19 from 8-11am at Purdue University Northwest’s campus. A continental breakfast will be available at 7:40am, and the presentation will begin promptly at 8am. Space is limited so registration is required. Dr. Jennifer Walthall, Secretary of the Family and Social Services Administration for Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, will be the keynote speaker for the presentation.
