The Michigan City Parks & Recreation Department announces that the Oasis Splash Park in Washington Park, Michigan City, Indiana will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, August 13th & 14th, 20th& 21st, and 27th & 28th. Hours of operation are 10am-12pm, 12:30am-2:30pm, 3pm-5pm (weather permitting). The final day of operation for the 2018 season will be Monday, September 3rd. The Splash Park is a water attraction with fountains and other features for children to play in and is a great alternative when the lake is not an option. It is a zero depth park with a controlled atmosphere. The park features restrooms and concessions on site. There is no entrance fee.
