The Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce will host a Community Job Hiring Event on October 17. The event will take place at the La Porte Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge Street, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and will feature nearly 60 businesses and organizations to help community members find a job. The community is invited to this event to learn about positions and careers in our local area. Businesses will be on hand to provide information about their organizations. A wide range of business sectors will be covered including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, nonprofits, and more.
