Due to forecasted frigid temperatures, the South Shore Line will provide temporary substitute bus service between South Bend and Michigan City Carroll Ave. on Monday, March 4, and Tuesday, March 5, 2019, for three morning trains. The trains impacted by busing on Monday and Tuesday include:

Eastbound Train 403
Westbound Train 6
Westbound Train 14

Regular train service between South Bend and Carroll Ave. is expected to resume with EB Train 7 on both days. Eastbound Train 401 will be canceled March 4-5. Service is canceled to and from Hudson Lake while substitute bus service is in effect and is expected to resume with Train 7. Hudson Lake passengers are encouraged to board at Carroll Ave. Station for train service during this time. The buses will arrive and depart with passengers to match the published Monday-Friday train schedule between Carroll Ave. and South Bend. Train 6 and Train 14 passengers should be prepared to board buses immediately north of the South Shore platform at the South Bend International Airport and re-board South Shore trains at Carroll Ave. Train 403 passengers will detrain at Carroll Ave. to board buses for the remainder of their trips.
