Overnight Wednesday, deputies responded to a tractor trailer rollover crash on US 30 near CR 600 West (South Central School Road). The semi was removed from the scene. However, a 60,000 pound coil of steel remained at the scene.
The towing agency, brought a heavy duty crane to the scene to remove the coil. Due to the size of the crane and the room needed, the westbound lanes of US 30 were closed. US 30 was closed for around an hour and a half, between SR 39 and US 421.
