Valparaiso Police are investigating the theft of merchandise from the Valparaiso Meijer, located at 405 Porters Vale Blvd. The theft occurred on May 11th at around 5:00 p.m. The male subjects entered the store and selected over $500.00 worth of collectible trading cards, then utilized a lower price tag to execute their purchase at a self-checkout. The males were seen leaving the area in a blue passenger hatchback passenger vehicle. The vehicle was further noted to have a temporary (paper) plate in the rear window.
