Heat Causes Delays On South Shore Line Wednesday

High temperatures and humidity, caused the South Shore Line to implement a temperature speed restriction for the entire length of the railroad.
Train maximum speeds were decreased to minimize heat-related damage to equipment and track, and passengers had around 15-20 minute delays according to the South Shore Lines advisory.
