Monday evening in Michigan City, some citizens contacted the police department because they found a kitten in a storm drain near Tryon Street and E. Michigan Blvd. Corporal Greg Miller and Officers Brian Wright and Adam Brinkman were able to find and rescue the kitten. The kitten is currently being cared for by Julie and Natalie, Michigan City’s Animal Control Officers, but will likely be taken to one of the local shelters for adoption very soon.
